Musk reportedly fired the company’s top executives soon after his hiring, including CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal.
Both Agrawal and Segal are said to have been at the company’s San Francisco headquarters when the deal was concluded. Both should have been escorted out, sources told Reuters news agency.

Musk and Twitter got into a legal battle after the billionaire tried to withdraw his offer to buy the messaging service for $ 44 billion, $ 54.20 per share. Twitter is suing to force him to comply with the purchase agreement.
A court granted Musk until Friday to complete the purchase agreement from April. Neither Musk nor Twitter have officially confirmed that the deal is in the works.

Musk said he wants to go public with Twitter and make the service better than ever.
– I want to improve the product with new features, make algorithms available, fight spam bots and authenticate all people. Twitter has huge potential, Musk said in a press release announcing the purchase.
Musk also said he believes it would be fair to lift the ban on former US President Donald Trump from Twitter. The billionaire believes it was wrong to permanently ban Trump.
