“Once I find someone crazy enough to replace me, I’ll take a step back.” That’s what Elon Musk said in December of last year after he conducted a poll on Twitter about his future as head of the company. 57.5 percent chose to leave in that poll.
And so it happened. Musk officially announces his resignation. “I am pleased to announce that I have found a new CEO for Twitter,” he wrote on Twitter. “She starts in about six weeks.” Her name is currently unknown. Musk will remain as chairman and ultimately responsible for technology.
