The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that an air depression centered over Turkey, accompanied by cold air masses, would dominate the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, leading to volatile weather with local spring rains until Friday, when it would head east and the weather would gradually stabilize.
The average temperature for the month of March is from 14 0 to 22 0 Celsius.
The expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a decrease in temperatures that become below their seasonal rates. Fog forms on the highlands. Scattered rain and active winds, especially in the afternoon, and light snow falls at an altitude of 1,400 meters and above.
Friday: Partly cloudy, gradually turning during the day to few clouds with a decrease in night temperatures. Therefore, we warn of snow formation during the night and early morning hours on the mountain and internal roads that are above 1,300 meters.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with a limited rise in temperatures, turning into partly cloudy in the afternoon with fog forming on the heights and the possibility of local light rain.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with the formation of local fog on the highlands and an additional rise in temperatures, which become within their seasonal rates.
