Ellen ten Damme announces that she will be performing again from July 22. The singer, who announced at the beginning of this month that she was diagnosed with breast cancer again, says on Instagram that her recovery is “going according to plan”.
The 54-year-old singer had to cancel a number of performances because she had to be treated for the disease she had twice before, but that is now over. “Thank you for all the sweet cards and gifts, they have helped me a lot,” writes the singer.
“It’s going really well: the recovery has gone according to plan, so I’m happy to announce that we, the band and I, will be performing again.” The concert at De Parade in The Hague is cancelled, but Ten Damme can be seen in Utrecht and Amsterdam. “We will be back from July 22. We are eager to go on stage.”
From mid-September, Ten Damme will also be touring again, with her show Baroque!.
