Ellen DeGeneres says goodbye on her self-titled talk show after 19 years on the air.
The host has announced that the first episode of the latest season will air on September 13 and many guests of the celebrity will join him in saying goodbye.
Fully vaccinated audiences are included in the program and there will be live studio recordings.
Jennifer Aniston will appear in his 23rd appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this season and Jimmy Kimmel will be making his 20th appearance.
Kim Kardashian will join the 63-year-old on the blue couch in her first interview since the end of her reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
“Girls Trip” comedian Tiffany Haddish and pop-rock band Imagine Dragons will also chat with DeGeneres on their last stage.
Other guests featured include Melissa McCarthy, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Julianne Moore, and Melissa Etheridge.
Before announcing the end of his long-running chat show, DeGeneres was embroiled in a series of controversies after allegations surfaced last year that the set had a toxic workplace behind the scenes. In July 2020, a Buzzfeed report was released in which alleged staff members had previously raised concerns about issues of racism and sexual misconduct by the perpetrators.
“As you can hear, this summer there were allegations of a toxic work environment on our show and then there was an investigation,” DeGeneres said in a season 18 monologue. “I take it seriously and I want to say I’m sorry. the people who were affected … I am responsible for what happens in my performance “.
Sources told The Post in May that his 2022 contract was irrelevant to the allegations and that the official reason for ending his talk show was that it was no longer a challenge.
