To prepare for the role, and especially the scenes where she will give birth, Fanning tells Entertainment Weekly that she talked to midwives and watched videos of women in labor.
– I was born during a tornado, so they could not film when I was born because the hospital was in lockdown, the actor tells the website.
But even though she does not have a video of her own birth, the actress reveals that she still got to see her own mother in the delivery room.
– I have a video of my mother giving birth to my sister.
Fanning tells the website that her mother did not receive any type of medication when she gave birth to her sister, Dakota Fanning (27), and that the pictures she saw may not have been completely lucky.
– It has burned into my memory!
Season two of “The Great” will be released on November 19 on HBO Max.
