The 95-year-old queen was accompanied by her grandson Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge and the Queen were given a tour of the facilities at the Cumbernauld factory. The two were also offered a small glass of soda to taste, but only Prince William took a sip of Irn Bru.
The visit ended with the opening of a new department of the factory. For that, Elizabeth unveiled a special plaque.
