Elizabeth, originally from Emly, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully on April 20th, 2023 at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her family, her son Patrick having pre-deceased her. She is survived by her loving husband Patrick, daughter Siobhán, and grandchildren Pat, Sinéad and Liam, as well as her son-in-law Vincent Hennessy, brothers Pat Kennedy and John Kennedy, and other relatives, friends and neighbours. Her remains will be reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Sunday, April 23rd from 5pm to 7pm, with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Knockea, followed by Requiem Mass on Monday, April 24th, at 11am, and a funeral afterwards to St. Peter & Paul’s Churchyard Crecora. There will be a live stream of Elizabeth’s Requiem Mass on the funeral home’s website, but the home accepts no responsibility for its functionality or interruption to a live transmission. The family has requested no flowers and instead suggests donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre, with an online donation option available.
