Rumors of the deteriorating health of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II are becoming more persistent, especially after Kovid-19 recently fell ill.
The fact is that for half a year Her Majesty, who finally left Buckingham Palace and lived in Windsor Castle, has not walked her dogs due to her deteriorating health. She has now ordered her assistants to take care of it, reports The Sun, citing a familiar source.
The interlocutor of the tabloid expresses his fears that Her Majesty will not recover enough to be able to enjoy walks in the company of four-legged friends.
He made the statement after it became clear that the Queen will not attend the service for the British Community Day on Monday, March 14, Blitz writes.
However, the reason for her absence from the event was never specified.
Elizabeth II cared for more than 30 Corgi and Dorgi dogs (a cross between Corgi and Dachshund). In 2015, she announced that she would no longer take new pets for fear that they would outlive her. After Vulcan’s death in December 2020, she was left with only one four-legged friend – Candy. In March 2021, however, she was given two puppies. One of them later died.
According to The Sun, after the death of her husband Prince Philip in 2021, pets have become her greatest source of comfort.
“She is not well enough. She usually turned to her favorite corgis in times of crisis and stress and walked them almost every day. She no longer rides, she followed the doctors’ advice and stopped drinking alcohol …” he added.
Citing its source, the Daily Mail reports that at this stage Elizabeth II has ruled out the use of a wheelchair and remains determined to continue to move alone for as long as possible. However, Buckingham Palace officials are increasingly expressing concerns about her health.
The subjects of the 95-year-old queen are worried that at the end of the month she will not be able to attend the service dedicated to the late Prince Philip.
According to the official version, the queen is experiencing such health problems due to the coronavirus she recently released. However, experts say that Elizabeth II was quite weak before the infection.
Earlier, the royal editor of the Daily Mirror Russell Myers suggested that Princes Charles and William had already taken on some of the duties of the British Queen. According to the expert, while Elizabeth II was ill with COVID-19 and did not appear in public, her eldest son and grandson William were involved in the current events.
