Australian cricketer Shane Warne died of “natural causes” on March 4. He was then on holiday in Thailand. The father of three became 52 years old.
Warne was for a time well known outside his home country and cricket circles, after being with the British film star Elizabeth Hurley (now 56).
The two announced that they were engaged in 2011but two years later and before they got married, the relationship was over.
“I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever,” Hurley wrote Instagram when the ex-fiancé’s death became known.
On Sunday, there is a private ceremony for Warne in Melbourne with 40 of his closest guests.
However, Hurley reports on Instagram that she does not get there on time, because she has had to film and the time difference is as it is.
