Shoe brand Sperry has named Elizabeth Drori as chief marketing officer. In her new role she will “develop and implement the global marketing strategy of Sperry” and report directly to Global Brand President Joelle Grunberg, said the label belonging to the US company Wolverine World Wide Inc. in a statement on Monday. Drori’s area of responsibility therefore also includes the management of all digital advertising campaigns and social media activities of the brand as well as the implementation of “marketing initiatives at all customer contact points”.
Drori comes from the retail group Walmart, where she most recently headed the marketing department of the fashion division. Prior to that, she held various executive positions at Converse. “Elizabeth is a seasoned, dynamic marketing director with a proven ability to build brands and improve digital marketing performance,” said her new manager, Joelle Grunberg.
