At the end of July Elizabeth II left for her Scottish castle Balmoral, where she usually spends her holidays. Only recently has she returned to London and started work. The day before, the Queen visited the Canadian artillery regiment in the guardhouse of Windsor Castle.

The appearance of the monarch amazed many British people. Residents of the kingdom, looking at the photos from the event, noted that she did not look rested. Besides, Her Majesty noticeably lost weight.

Recall, next year, Elizabeth II plans to celebrate the 70th anniversary of her reign of Great Britain. The platinum anniversary celebrations are slated for early June.
