Elite Soccer Player Willian’s Lawsuit: Alleged Investments and Financial Losses Revealed

In his decision, the magistrate also mentioned that, by the standards of wages paid to elite soccer players, it is certain that Willian’s livelihood will not be harmed by the granting of the attachment of 30% of his net remuneration.

Bigode receives around R$ 520,000 a month, divided between Fluminense and Athletico.

In the lawsuit, Mayke says he invested BRL 4.5 million in Xland, and should have a return of BRL 3.2 million. Another victim was Gustavo Scarpa, who in turn invested R$6.3 million in Xland. Neither of the two, however, managed to get the amounts back when they tried to recover the investments.

They say they had a friendly relationship with Willian. Therefore, they placed their trust in the player, who later referred them to Xland to carry out the investments. In Mayke’s case, he was even a WLJC client.

The athlete alleges a loss of around R$ 7.4 million. Previously, the Justice had already determined the blocking of the accounts of the partners of Xland and of a company linked to Willian.

Bigode and the company WLJC claim to be victims of Xland, having made investments of R$17.5 million which, even though the ransom request was made in November of last year, have not yet been returned.
