Elite NasDem reveals a special meeting after Jokowi asked not to choose a presidential candidate

NasDem DPP party president Effendi Choirie said there was a meeting with NasDem president Surya Paloh after president Joko Widodo (Jokowi)Jokowi) speak in order not to choose Carpes carelessly. She said the people who attended the meeting asked for Paloh’s response to Jokowi’s remarks.

According to Gus Choi, Choirie’s nickname Surya Paloh stated that Jokowi’s observations were normal. He said Jokowi as president should speak like this.

“‘Okay, that’s just normal President. The President should say something like that,'” said Gus Choi imitating Paloh’s words.

Gus Choi said Jokowi’s statement was intended for everyone. He said Jokowi’s remarks were common.

“And this is the address to whom? What to us? What to Golkar? Or to the public?” He said.

“Anyone, maybe he can go to Golkar, can go to us. Anywhere, but the point is for everyone,” he continued.

Previously, Jokowi had said he shouldn’t have casually declared support for the 2024 presidential candidate. This was communicated by Jokowi on Golkar’s anniversary on Friday (21/10). Surya Paloh was present at the event.
