The Public Prosecution Service East Netherlands confirms the arrest after reporting by The Telegraph† The KCT are the special forces of the Royal Netherlands Army. The soldier who was arrested is said to be a sergeant major.
The Public Prosecution Service announced that the soldier was arrested on 1 February and was brought before the examining magistrate of the court in Arnhem three days later. He has decided to pre-trial detention of the suspect for fourteen days.
