All problems on the PC have caused Frontier to re-prioritize.

The long-awaited expansion Odyssey to Elite Dangerous hardly got what the reception Frontier Studios had hoped for. It was released for PC in May, and criticize accumulated quickly on forums and user reviews, mainly due to poor performance and bugs. Frontier founder David Braben even went out and asked excuse for the problems.
In a posts on the official forum, Braben now writes that they put all their energy into fixing the PC version and that the upcoming console versions therefore did not receive much attention. Therefore, the release date for Odyssey to consoles to be postponed indefinitely, until they have a solid foundation on the PC to build on.
Braben points out, however, that all the progress on the PC will of course benefit the console versions. We can look forward to more updates in the coming months, and they will not only fix issues, but also include new content and new features.
