Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Lebanese singer Elissa responded to the comment of her Egyptian counterpart, Sherine Abdel Wahab, when she said that she felt that she was singing as if she was “holding checks on people.”
And Elissa posted a tweet on her official page on Twitter, which included two pictures, one of which was singing on stage, and the other was of a woman holding a check.
The first picture bore the phrase: “How do people see me while I’m on stage?” The second picture bore the phrase: “What Sherine sees.”
And the Lebanese artist wrote a comment on the two pictures in English, saying: “There are no grudges, though.”
And Sherine had said during her participation in the “Carpool Karaoke” program on Dubai TV that she felt that Elisa was singing as if she was “holding checks for people”, which sparked widespread controversy.
