The councilor for Education, Childhood and Youth, Elisabeth Peltzer, has submitted her resignation from the act of councilor at the Logroño City Council for health reasons. It will be effective on September 3 after full acceptance. She will be replaced by Beatriz Nalda Ariza, to whom the act corresponds as she is the next candidate on the PSOE lists for the municipal elections of May 2019.
Elisabeth Peltzer’s resignation is motivated by her recovery from a complicated operation to which she was subjected in March and whose pace is slower than expected. The ordinary Plenary of September will approve his resignation from the position, which will be subsequently communicated to the Central Electoral Board. This body must issue the certificate of the minutes of the next candidate on the list, Beatriz Nalda Ariza, who may take office at the ordinary plenary session on October 1.
Elisabeth Peltzer (1962) is a professor and graduate in English Philology from the University of Zaragoza. She has worked as an English teacher in different centers in Navarra, Aragón and La Rioja. His last destination (in the last 20 years) has been the IES Joaquín Romera de Mendavia (Navarra). She has been a grassroots activist for the PSOE since 2012 and was a councilor in Laguna de Cameros from 2015 to 2019. Affiliated to the teaching branch of the CC union. OO., Has been involved in the AMPAS of CEIP Vicente Ochoa, IES Batalla de Clavijo and IES Sagasta.
For her part, Beatriz Nalda Ariza (1980) has a diploma in Technical Architecture, a university master’s degree in Teacher Training and a technician in Occupational Risk Prevention. Manager of the family business founded in 1953 Esna Maquinaria Industrial and advisor to the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Parliament of La Rioja since September 2019.
