Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina (No. 28 WTA) could not start playing at the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.
In the first round of the basics, the Ukrainian was waiting for a meeting with the ex-first racket of the world Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark (No. 632 WTA). The match was canceled at the request of Svitolina.
As Elina admitted on her Twitter, she took this step because of health problems that she had after the Wimbledon tournament and the tournament in Montreal, which took place the previous week.
