This fall, the reality couple packed up Elin Bergius (28) and Christian Fredrik Trælnes (27) the suitcases and moved to Spain. The couple met for the first time as participants in “Paradise Hotel” in 2015, but much has changed in recent years.
The couple has exchanged reality and partying with family life. In February, they were trebarnsforeldre, with children Mio (10 months), Belle (4) and Juni Nicole (5).

In the winter of 2020, Dagbladet was able to report that Bergius and Trælnes had got engaged, but due to the corona pandemic, the wedding has become canceled twice.
Now the former tells Dagbladet that it will probably be a Spain wedding.
Moved out of the country
– Maybe next summer or the summer after that, we have to get married at least. But now we might as well have gone to the town hall, says Bergius, who is starting to get impatient after calling Trælnes her husband.

Rented the house in Norway
Da Dagbladet spoke with Bergius in October, she could tell that the decision on a new homeland was very spontaneous. The plan was to live in Spain only for a short period of time to test if it was something for them.
Now, on the other hand, the house in Norway has been rented out, and the family will stay in Spain for at least another year.
– We like each other very much here and so do the kids. It’s nice weather and good people, she says.
Therefore, they kept the engagement hidden for two years
But the moving boxes will be packed once more, since the couple will replace the house in La Nucia. They have now rented another house just a stone’s throw away, with a Norwegian family as their nearest neighbor.
Most recently in Spain, Trælnes has had a home office, Bergius has worked with social media, and the children have attended Norwegian kindergarten. In addition to living close to other Norwegian families, the family gets more of the homeland around them.

Spanish Christmas
The family will spend Christmas Eve in Spain with other Norwegian families, with Norwegian traditional food such as ribs and chops on the table. But this year, Christmas Eve gets a Spanish dispute:
– Cancels the wedding
– We are going to the beach and swim at 12 with the other families.
The next day it carries on to the old country for a month, something Bergius envisions that will not just be a pleasant experience.
– I dread, here it is 16 degrees in the air, and I think it’s cold, says Bergius.
