On Wednesday 31 March this year, 18-year-old Elin Klinteberg was found dead in Höör in Sweden. Only days later, a now 27-year-old man was arrested and suspected of murder.
The man, who was Klinteberg’s friend, admitted to having caused the 18-year-old’s death, but denied criminal guilt.
– The arrested man has in police interrogation admitted that he has taken the woman’s life. He believes that his intention was not to kill her and therefore denies the action, said chamber lawyer Kristoffer Nordström in a press release that time.
Must have dug down the body
According to the indictment, which is now ready, more details about the murder will emerge. The 27-year-old is accused of beating Klinteberg to death with a hammer inside a motorhome. Then he must have dug down the body. It writes Expressen.
The date of the murder is not set in the indictment, but the indictment states that the murder must have taken place sometime between 29 and 31 March.
The suspect has explained in interrogation that he got rid of the hammer and the 18-year-old’s belongings by throwing them into a pond.
Traces of blood from Klinteberg were also found on the now accused man’s glasses and hands when he was arrested.
