Eliminate the illegal constructions of “Rosenets”

The caretaker government has allocated funds needed for the demolition of illegal sites in the Rosenets area near Burgas

BGN 69,000 will be allocated for the demolition of illegal sites on the territory of Rosenets Forest Park near Burgas.

Today’s decision is up to the Council of Ministers. The funds for the removal of the buildings will be allocated to the District Administration of Burgas. The information is from the press center of the district administration.

The two buildings, for which the funds for demolition are provided, have already entered into force by orders of the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov.

The regional governor of Burgas, Maria Neykova, has also informed the caretaker government about other illegal constructions in the Rosenets area, for which she has also requested funds for their removal.

The sites for which demolition orders have entered into force are three-storey massive building, next to the greenhouse, as well as a security booth. The perpetrator of the illegal constructions is unknown, the protocols of the municipality show.

The saga with the properties in Rosenets Park began in 1999. After several sales and changes in the status of the beach and the road to it, since 2014 they are owned by the company “Hermes Solar” associated with Ahmed Dogan. After the protests last summer, a number of proceedings began on these properties. In August of the same year, the prosecutor’s office announced that it had found a number of violations and lack of permits and design documents for the quay and for buildings in the property. An order has been issued by the municipality of Burgas for the demolition of one of the buildings on the beach, and the local cadastral service has started a procedure for the official documentation of the coast as a beach. Meanwhile, the city’s municipal council overturned its decision at the end of April 2020, which changed the status of the road to the coast from municipal to private.

Four lawsuits were filed in Burgas on the topic of Rosenets, and a temporary Rosenets parliamentary commission was set up during the 46th National Assembly.
