Summoned to take part in the next two days of the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup with Russia, Alekseï Ionov will no longer be part of the team for reasons of injury.
Russia will face Slovenia and Slovakia respectively on October 8 and 11, and Sbornaya will have to pass this international break without Aleksei Ionov. Indeed, the 32-year-old was injured, even before the meeting between his team Krasnodar and CSKA Moscow (0-0) last Saturday.
Like him, Aleksandr Golovin will miss the start of the rally because he suffered an injury today with Monaco against Bordeaux (3-0), a meeting in which he was a scorer and decisive passer. The results of the next exams will make it possible to know whether he will be able to join the selection along the way or not.
