Once again, Cristiano Ronaldo made his heart speak. At the end of the match which ended in a 0-0 draw between Ireland and Portugal on Thursday evening, he offered his jersey to a little girl, despite the security ban.
Traveling to Dublin as part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Portugal had to be content with a draw (0-0). Despite this disappointing result, Cristiano Ronaldo did not refrain from showing his class and his “heart” side. At the end of the match, a little girl burst onto the pitch to try to approach the Portuguese star. Unfortunately, security intervened quickly to prevent it. The whole scene took place in front of Cristiano who did not hesitate to ask the stewards to let the little fan pass.
He will eventually offer her his jersey, then give her a hug. All moved, the young Irishwoman burst into tears.
