The Amazon Prime Video series from Lord of the Rings is one of the most anticipated television projects, both by the entourage of fans of the saga and by the exorbitant budget invested in the production. Expectations are high, but Elijah Wood wanted to clarify a detail about the project.

Spanish filmmaker JA Bayona (Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom) will direct the first two episodes of the fiction which, although taking place centuries before the adventures of Bilbo, Frodo, Aragorn, Boromir and company, will also feature characters from the trilogy like Elrond, Galadriel or the sorcerer Gandalf.
