During the night, a YAM fighter was mortally wounded in the activity of the security forces in the town of al-Rason in the Tulkarm region. The fighter was taken to Beilinson Hospital for further treatment, where we were informed that they are fighting for his life.
During the operation, the terrorists who, as mentioned, murdered the late Elhanan Klein in an attack near the village of Beit Lied last November, and seriously injured a female soldier in another attack, were eliminated. A total of five terrorists were eliminated.

Hamas says that four of the five terrorists killed in the Tulkarm area belonged to the terrorist organization. It was also reported that one of them was a Hamas commander in the same area, Alaa Sharitah, a released security prisoner.
