On Monday February 19, 2024, in Cosa, in the commune of Ratoma, blood was shed again. Taxi driver Elhadj Mamadou Diallo, aged around 30, was shot and injured in Cosa.
According to the victim’s brother, he was shot in the head in the courtyard of their home in Africof (Cosa Rail) and died instantly. His body is currently in the morgue of a private clinic in Cosa.
Since the morning of Monday, young people have governed all along the prince’s axis. Young people took to the streets to try to disrupt traffic for unknown reasons.
In Cosa, these demonstrations led to clashes between young demonstrators and law enforcement officers. The agents fired tear gas grenades to disperse the demonstrators, but the latter responded with throwing stones.
