With just over 4,000 viewers, they were number 1 in the ELF hit parade at the weekend. No home games in Duisburg, Frankfurt and Munich, the Vikings played on Ravelinstrasse. Overall, this resulted in the lowest average number of viewers in the season so far of 2,720. The numbers from Cologne are still missing, but they usually don’t make the herb fat.
The Vikings fall behind Berlin in the table by switching to the Raveline (6th), the Raiders move up one place (8th). That won’t be something to be happy about in Tyrol, because while the Vikings can host another home game on September 16th, the Raiders ended their home game season with the defeat against Stuttgart. The Surge can overtake Innsbruck again in their home game against the Guards on Sunday.
Speaking of the Guards: They had a record attendance of over 3,000 against the Rhein Fire. Lidl is worth it.
Apropos Rhein Fire: They were shown on TV for the ninth time (the champion from Vienna exactly 1 time), but the audience didn’t want to play along in the next attempt either.

In the meantime, the ELF has reached under 100,000 viewers in Germany. ProSieben Maxx does not comment publicly on the figures, what else should they say about it. It just doesn’t work. Whereby: In Austria a record was set, albeit on a modest level: 12,000 watched the first game on Sunday.
The game Helvetic Guards – Rhein Fire (best value of the year) in AT had 12,000 spectators. In DE the 2 games looked up @ProSiebenMAXX ≈ 100.000.
