Eleven-year-old missing – police ask for help

Berlin. An eleven-year-old girl has been missing since Saturday, August 10, 2024. Police have released photos of the child.

The Berlin police have released photos of an eleven-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday, August 10, 2024. Lea Sofi Zibart was reported missing by the child emergency service on Gitschiner Strasse at around 10 a.m.

The child had already left her parents’ apartment in Frankfurt am Main on August 7, 2024. On Friday, August 9, she was found by the police in Berlin and handed over to the child emergency service. There, however, she initially gave false information about her identity.

According to the police, Lea Sofi appears to be significantly older than eleven years, both in her appearance and in her demeanor.

The missing eleven-year-old is described as follows:

  • Estimated age: 14 to 16 years
  • approximately 165 to 170 cm tall
  • long, straight dark hair, usually tied in a ponytail
  • female figure

Lea Sofi Zibart is probably wearing completely white leather Nike sneakers, grey sweatpants, a strapless grey top and a very long grey cardigan. She may also be wearing a grey knitted dress instead of the sweatpants.

The investigators ask:

  • Who has seen Lea Sofi Zibart since the morning of August 10, 2024?
  • Who can provide information about her current whereabouts?
  • Who might know Lea from the days before and know who she had contact with?
  • Who can provide other relevant information?
