Eleven films between 5 pm and 11.35 pm This is the rich menu of the day, this Wednesday July 7, of the third day of the international surf film festival. With in particular “Roca Bruja” by Brian Llinares and Baptiste Levrier, on the mythical spot of Roca Bruja, a place full of legends.
Another beautiful story, that of “Mer en filles”, by Lisa Monin and Sébastien Dagueressar, on the Fierro family, which helped to break Tahitian phallocratism vis-à-vis surfing. Vahine (20 years old), Heimiti (16 years old) and Kohai (14 years old), encouraged by their parents, are keen to change the codes. We will also be traveling this evening to Israel with “Dirty Bladind” by Yaeer Eldar and Erez Melamed and in South Africa with “The Armstrong” by Arthur Neumeler. The full program can be found on surf-film.com.
Around the festival, you can discover the village of partners and exhibitions. The screenings take place in the garden of the Chamber of Love cave. With a limited gauge due to mandatory health rules linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. The festival continues until Thursday, July 8, when the presentation of the seven prizes planned for this year will take place at the end of the last screenings.
