Eleven numbers for the 27th matchday of the Bundesliga

The German press agency has collected eleven figures for the 27th matchday of the Bundesliga

3 – Gladbach’s striker Marcus Thuram has scored three doubles in the Bundesliga so far, with the first against Freiburg this season.

5 – For the fifth time in a row, VfL Wolfsburg did not concede a goal in a Bundesliga home game. That is a club record.

6 – For the sixth time, Frankfurt benefited from an own goal in a 2-1 win in Dortmund. This is by far the highest in the league this season.

7 – With seven game days before the end of the season, Bayern are seven points ahead of Leipzig. If a championship leader had such a lead at that point, he has always been a champion.

9 – FC Augsburg is nine points ahead of 16th place. Such a cushion on the relegation rank has not yet been lost after 27 games in a Bundesliga season with the three-point rule.

13 – For the 13th time, VfL Wolfsburg did not concede a goal this Bundesliga season. That is also a club record.

14-14 points after ten match days in the second half of the season are BVB’s weakest record since the 2008/09 season under the direction of Jürgen Klopp.

Borussia Mönchengladbach did not lose 17-17 home games in a row against SC Freiburg. Only against Leverkusen (19 games until 1997) and Bochum (18 until 1989) do the Gladbachers have longer Bundesliga home series.

22 – Frankfurt has always scored at least one goal in the last 22 Bundesliga games. This is the longest series of this kind in Hessen since 1977.

31 – FSV Mainz 05 has now converted so many penalties into series, the Bundesliga record has been expanded.

100 – FC Augsburg celebrates its 100th victory in the 333rd Bundesliga game.
