According to the social authorities, eleven new corona cases were registered in Hamburg on Sunday. That’s just as many new infections as a week ago, but eleven fewer than on Saturday.
According to the social authorities, a total of 77,467 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 75,300 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days remains in the single digits and is 8.8. This means that the incidence value has remained the same compared to Saturday. A week ago it was 9.3.
19 corona patients in Hamburg intensive care units
According to the social authorities, 34 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 19 of whom are being cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, a total of 1,597 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic, so there has been no further death.
