“Elevate Your Events with EBRA Events: The Ultimate Event Factory”

EBRA Events is already present in Alsace. After the episode of the health crisis which froze or rejected the entire events sector in the digital universe, the agency is gradually resuming its activities. “Proprietary events”, linked to DNA and to L’Alsacehave all been relaunched: Community Trophies, Business Trophies, Sports Trophies, J1J and College Journal, etc.

Become a recognized player in events in Alsace

But the Strasbourg office, headed by Catherine McCarthy for just over a year, now has other ambitions. It wants to become a recognized and clearly identified player in events throughout Alsace, serving companies, communities, public or parapublic entities or associations… An ambition clearly set out yesterday evening, during the launch organized on rue de la Nuée Bleue, at the historic headquarters of DNA. An ambition made possible by the new dimension of EBRA Events, which has become one of the brands of the EBRA group.

Anthony Choumert, director of the group’s Events Division, leads the EBRA Events network. He summarizes its major advantage, namely “proximity and a network that covers a third of the national territory”. Present in Paris, EBRA Events can nurture national and even international ambitions. Its locations in Strasbourg, Metz, Nancy, Lyon, Grenoble or Annecy allow it to capitalize on local roots. “That is to say a network, knowledge, expertise, relationships of trust”, insists Anthony Choumert.

Added to this is a clearly stated desire to develop “impact events”. Hear that there is a way to combine the ephemeral (which is the essence of an event) and the lasting. Without forgetting the social dimension. For example, aiming for zero waste with a caterer or favoring short circuits or even taking an ESAT (Establishments or services for help through work) as a partner in the design of an event.

Last but not least, Anthony Choumert believes in the “physical” event, the one where people meet, exchange, share: if the agency knows how to mobilize all the digital skills, these are “at the service of the event” and do not replace it. EBRA Events has just acquired LiveEvent, a company specializing in the organization of multi-sport challenges between companies.

About thirty meetings in 2023

In Strasbourg, Catherine McCarthy declines these principles, on the strength of her experience acquired at the French Tennis Federation (which earned her to intervene in the Roland-Garros tournament, the Davis Cup, the Fed Cup), in London where she worked in an event agency then in Strasbourg where she was commercial director of TRASCO (catering) before working for Strasbourg Events for five years.

In 2023, EBRA Events Alsace plans to organize around thirty meetings: fairs or forums open to the general public, internal events for companies or groups… “Not a day is like another, each event must be different” , concludes Catherine McCarthy.
