Elettra Lamborghini is back on television. The singer, as well as former columnist of theIsland of the Famous, was one of the protagonists of the second episode of Seat Music Awards 2021. Live on Rai Uno, the heiress was awarded for her latest summer hit, Gunman. Before receiving the award from the hands of the conductors Carlo Conti and Vanessa Incontrada Elettra, complete with a glittery gunslinger look, performed with two dancers.
An exhibition that disappointed the fans of Elettra Lamborghini, not a little. The latter chose to sing in lip-sync at the Verona Arena, considered one of the temples of Italian music. Elettra was literally overwhelmed by criticism on social networks: for many, Lamborghini has done a real outrage.
“In the 80s artists protested against playback, let me tell you that using it today is shameful especially if you then complain about how much you miss the concerts”, a Twitter viewer noted. “Elettra does not even pretend to sing, playback slammed in the face”someone else added.
Elettra Lamborghini at the Seat Music Awards: it’s rain of criticism
There are those who brought up Emma Marrone, who performed before Elettra Lamborghini at the Seat Music Awards: “Infinite esteem for Emma Marrone, one of the few who has really sung and not with that poracciata of playback!”. And then again: “But Elettra, besides being in playback, it seemed that she didn’t even know the words of her own song”
Someone tried to instead defend Lamborghini:
“Elettra makes me die, she is a positive character, certainly not a singer, but in any case she is much more cheerful than many others”
It is not the first time that Elettra Lamborghini is criticized for her way of singing: the out of tune at the Sanremo 2020 Festival, where she presented the song Music (and the rest disappears), they did a lot of discussion. The person directly concerned has never paid much attention to criticism and has said that she is more than ever convinced of her choice to work in the world of music.
