By the middle of the year, the “Eleport” electric car charging network is expected to expand significantly – there will be ten new charging stations with 20 ports in Riga, Ķegum, Sigulda and Salacgrīva.
The new 200 kW and 120 kW charging stations will be available for use in the parking lot of the shopping center “Šokolāde” in Sigulda from February. This week, on the other hand, the first “Eleport” 100 kW charging station started operating in Sigulda, in the parking lot of the “Raibais suns” shopping center, which will simultaneously provide charging for two electric cars.
All new charging stations in Riga and regions will be equipped with two ports, providing a total of 20 new ports.
Charging at Eleport stations can be performed by both registered customers using the Eleport app or a customer card, as well as previously unregistered customers by following the directions to the charging station and paying in advance.
