“Eleport Opens Seven New Electric Car Charging Stations in Latvia’s Dreilini and Bergi Areas”

The electric car charging network “Eleport” continues its development and has opened seven new charging stations. Three new charging stations have been installed in the parking lot of the “Saga” shopping center in Dreilini, two in the parking lot of the “Sky” supermarket in Bergis, while two more will be available in Sigulda, in the parking lot of the “Šokolāde” shopping center from May 3, providing a total of 14 new charging stations in Dreilini and Bergi.

“Eleport’s mission is and will be to ensure the most comfortable transition to an electric vehicle. That is why we are looking for the most convenient, modern and innovative charging station solutions to introduce to existing and potential users of Latvian electric cars. At the new charging points, we continue to cooperate with the Finnish charging station developer Kempower, whose stations have already been loved by our network users at the charging area of t/c Domina Shopping. Taking into account the positive experience and user feedback, even at the new charging stations, drivers will be able to count on a convenient charging process, fast payment procedures and convincing power for daily trips,” says Kārlis Mendziņš, manager of “Eleport Latvija”.

Three new charging stations have been installed in Dreiliņi, t/c “Saga” parking lot between “Puķu” and “Meža” gates: 200 kW* ultra-fast charging station capable of charging at a charging speed of 1250 km/h, or 100 km in five minutes in time, a 120 kW* fast charging station with a charging speed of 750 km/h and a 22 kW alternating current or slow charging station that provides a charging speed of 145 km/h and is suitable for leisurely charging and leisure in the shopping center. In addition, to celebrate the opening of the new stations, guests of t/c “Saga” will be provided with free charging from April 28 to May 7.

One 200 kW* charging station capable of charging at a charging speed of 1250 km/h, or 100 km in six minutes, and one 120* kW station with a charging speed of 750 km/h have been installed in Berggis, in the parking lot of the “Sky” supermarket.

On the other hand, two more 120* kW “Eleport” charging stations will be available for charging in Sigulda from May 3 in the parking lot of the shopping center “Shokolade”.

Each charging station is equipped with two ports, thus providing 14 electric cars with charging options at the same time. These charging points are publicly available to all electric car users. The 200 kW stations are equipped with two European standard CCS2 cables, the 120 kW stations are equipped with both a CCS2 cable and a CHAdeMO cable, and the AC station is equipped with European standard Type 2 sockets.

At “Eleport” stations, both registered customers using the “Eleport” app or a customer card, and previously unregistered customers can charge by scanning the QR code on the charging station and making a prepayment via the website.

*The indicated power refers to electric cars equipped with an 800 V battery system. For electric cars with a 400 V battery system, the power available at these stations may vary depending on the type of connection.
