By developing the electric car charging network, Eleport provides charging options in 7 new locations in Latvia, and also announces the creation of the largest charging park in the Baltic States in Lithuania near the shopping and entertainment center “Akropole”.
In general, the Eleport network in Latvia has been supplemented with 13 new charging stations both in Riga and outside. In the capital, charging stations are available for electric car users at the “RIMI” shopping center (Tilta iela 32 and A. Deglava iela 110) and “Rīga Plaza”, near the Riga cinema studio and at the “AD REM” car center at Brīvības iela 246. Meanwhile, a new charging station has also been opened In Ogre near the shopping center “Dauga” and in the Cēsu region near the guest house “Bille”, thereby providing a total of 28 new ports in Latvia for electric car owners.
As the number of electric car users grows, our task is to provide the most accessible car charging infrastructure for everyone. Our goal is to create charging stations adapted to the daily usage habits of end users and to ensure their availability in the ever-expanding region of Riga, Latvia and the Baltics.

Electric car charging infrastructure developer Eleport has made significant investments in the development of the charging network not only in the territory of Latvia, but also in our neighboring country Lithuania, announcing the creation of a new charging park near the shopping and entertainment center “Akropole”, located in the very center of Kaunas. As part of the project, it is planned to install 40 charging stations, with a total investment of almost 1 million euros. The implementation of the project is planned in two stages, and the installation of the first 20 stations will begin in January of this year. The planned charging park will be the largest in the Eleport network, as well as in the Baltic States, providing the opportunity to simultaneously charge up to 80 electric cars.
200 kW ultra-fast charging stations have been installed at t/c “RIMI” on A. Deglava Street 110, which are capable of charging at a charging speed of 1250 km/h, or 100 km in five minutes. On the other hand, a 100 kW charging station is available for users at t/c “RIMI” on Tilta street 32. Ultra fast, as well as 50 kW and 22 kW charging stations, installed at the “Rīga Plaza” t/c. The Eleport network has been supplemented by the 75 kW charging station installed in the “AD REM” auto center, as well as the 100 kW charging station installed at the “Dauga” train station. It is possible to use 100 kW and 22 kW charging stations for electric car users at the “Bille” guest house. The “SimpleCharge” and “Garo” stations installed in the Riga film studio have also been added to the Eleport network.
“Garo” charging stations are equipped with two ports, while “SimpleCharge” with one port, and these charging points are publicly available to all electric car users. Fast charging stations are equipped with European standard CCS and Japanese standard CHAdeMO cables, while AC stations are equipped with European standard Type 2 sockets.
