The crisis that Imaginarium is going through, the Aragonese toy company that is in the middle of negotiating the ERE of 119 layoffs in Spain, is for many something more than a business issue. Now turned into one of the most requested interpreters nationwide, both in theater and in film and television (One of her latest works is the protagonist in the series ‘Inés del alma mía’ and she will soon begin filming ‘Alba’, for Antena 3), a tweet has just gone viral in which she regrets the closure of one of the stores by Imaginarium.
Rivera has published a photo in which a sign of one of the branches is read announcing the blind that reads: “We have seen you grow. It has been a pleasure. Goodbye!”. To which she adds: “The girl in me just broke down” (next to a sad smiley).
The tweet, which has more than 13,000 favorites and more than 2,000 retweets, has also been answered by Rivera’s colleagues, such as Carlos Bardem: “Hahahaha, when they opened the first little door it reached my chest. I’m old, but very old.”
Along with him, dozens of comments in the same line of the actress, lamenting the decline of a chain of stores that remind them of the happiest moments of their childhood.
Imaginarium was one of the benchmarks for toys in Spain and the world for its innovative designs and its educational orientation. Its unique stores became very recognizable, especially for having two doors, one normal and one small, designed for childrens (referred to in Carlos Bardem’s tweet).
In Aragon, The company plans to leave only the Aragonia store while it will also do without the Puerto Venecia and Grancasa store.
It is February 25 when the negotiation of this collective dismissal is scheduled to close, which if it continues in the same line as up to now, will end without an agreement, union sources anticipated, who already recalled that they challenged the previous ERE raised by Imaginarium in the summer.
