Elementary school students pass highest level wind music exam with gold achievement badge

As part of a public concert in the auditorium of the elementary school in Irdning, four students from the music school in Gröbming passed their final exams

Highest performance level in wind music and thus also achieved the achievement badge in gold of the Styrian wind music association. Music school director Prof. Gerhard Lipp welcomed the guests present, introduced the candidates by name, thanked the students for their effort and perseverance and the parents for their financial support.

This exam consisted of a theoretical and a practical part. The students first took an internal examination in the practical part, which consisted of playing an etude, an unaccompanied recital piece, a march and sight reading practice. At a public concert in Irdning, the talented musicians showed their skills with pieces of music from different eras with piano accompaniment.

Katharina Trafella – flute, (class: Mag. Gerlinde Grünwald) with very good success,
Marvin Schwab – trumpet (class: Mag. Günther Hirschegger) with excellent success,
Lydia Leitgab – clarinet (class: Mag. Herwig Grünwald) with very good results
The examinees were accompanied on the piano by Mag. Jung Ming and MMag. Director Gerhard Lipp.

Leitgab Lydia is actively involved in the Stein an der Enns band, Trafella Katharina and Stock-Wesner Lea in the Aigen band and Schwab Marvin in the Irdning band.

Director Gerhard Lipp congratulated the young, successful musicians who enriched cultural and social life with their excellent performances.
