Color anthologies continue willy-nilly at Marvel, which seems to have found a vein to be exploited in the long term. After the anthologies Black, White & Blood dedicated to Wolverine, Carnage and Deadpool, it is the dreadful Elektra who will be entitled to this tricolor treatment, for the month of December.
Red suits her so well
No false note on the choice of the heroine, whose red clothes and the profession of assassin go perfectly with the concept of the anthology Black, White & Blood. Elektra will therefore be entitled to its anthological mini-series in four issues, with a concept that does not change. For each issue, several creative teams come up with stories about the heroine, so using only three colors, and the promise a minima to have pretty boards in the end.
Are announced for the first issue, for the moment, Charles Soule, Declan Shalvey (who had already officiated on Wolverine : Black, White & Blood) as well as Leonardo Romero, while other artists will join these troupes along the way. John Romita Jr. sign the (pretty) cover of the first issue, on which we find Elektra in a pouring rain, his daggers dripping with blood. See you next December to discover this first issue.
