Sharjah: Electronic signature service for vehicle registration was launched in Sharjah. This is part of Vehicle Registration Department under Sharjah Police to provide better services to vehicle users.
Officials said this is part of the Interior Ministry’s efforts to ensure all administrative services meet standards of quality, efficiency and transparency. Head of Vehicle Registration Section of Sharjah Police, Lt. Colonel Abdul Rehman Khater said.
How to register?
First, visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs website. Then select traffic services and sign the agreement. Then activate the digital identity and get the services. The electronic signature facilitates transactions relating to ownership, export, registration and transfer of the vehicle without visiting a service center.
Company vehicle registration
Khater said companies can also use the service if they issue a company representation letter to allow a company member to perform their duties of registering, renewing and transferring ownership of company vehicles. HGV TESTING CENTER (TASJIL) – INDUSTRIAL AREA No. 12, Red Patch Police Office (Auto Showroom), Al Daed Vehicle Registration Department, Kalba Police Station and any representative should visit and sign.
