Electronic music will reign in Camagüey online ›Culture› Granma

The 5th Beat 32 Electronic Music Conference, an event organized by its Camagüey affiliate of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), will take place between 19 and 22 of the current month. The day, which this time is transferred to social networks, will have a large participation of musicians, including several Disc jockeys (DJs) from Spain and Mexico, respectively.

Given the current epidemiological situation due to infections by Covid-19, the Cuban News Agency (ACN) informed that the event will take these platforms to show the creations of young talents, along with others from Havana, Holguín and eight local creators, according to what Ihordan Torres, president of the AHS in the territory, told ACN.

Ihordan Torres also explained to the ACN that the filmmakers from Camagüey made the filming from the terraces of the Santa Cecilia Convention Center, the Santa María hotel, and the San Juan de Dios museum, facilities from which you can see around great part of the city, while they interact with their teams.

Richard Castro, one of the organizers of the event, explained that the main objective of the meeting is to revitalize the taste for this type of music, mainly among young people, since Camagüey does not stand out for being a territory where the genre develops, but it does enjoys a growing number of followers.

Again from the National Laboratory of Electronic Music, DJs Rafael Ruiz and Emmanuel de Juan Blanco join.

Being a genre in constant evolution, this type of event becomes an opportunity to exchange creations and knowledge of the area, which is always in constant change.

Another advantage of the appointment is that it allows to visualize the determination of Cuban DJs in creating their own label, by disseminating their work, and in general, creating a common one for electronic music in the country, always a creative way.
