Continuing its approach of end-to-end simplification and dematerialization of port transit processes, the National Ports Agency is launching a new online service for the benefit of all stakeholders in the port community. This is the electronic management of your requests for access to commercial ports managed by the Agency.
The first phase for the implementation of electronic management of access requests, via the PortNet portal, concerns the pilot port of Jorf Lasfar. This service will subsequently be extended to all ports.
Today, the steps to be taken to access the port are handled manually, involving multiple port stakeholders and consequently have major repercussions on processing times and the quality of services provided to port users.
From now on, badge requests for access to the port of Jorf Lasfar, pilot port, will be made via the PortNet portal in an exclusively digital manner. Economic operators will have 24/7 access to the platform and will be able to create and monitor their access requests according to their need, whether permanent or temporary.
This latest addition to the SMART port services managed by the Agency will help to optimize deadlines, as well as to strengthen port security, the ability to anticipate and plan port operations.
