Electronic Arts Ends Support for Wild Hearts, Potentially Due to Competition with Monster Hunter

The moderator of the official Wild Hearts Discord channel told users of the Reddit forum that Electronic Arts has decided to stop supporting the fantasy action game Wild Hearts, which was released in early 2023.

According to him, Wild Hearts could not stand the competition with the mega-popular Monster Hunter franchise.

What is known

It’s hard not to agree that the action game from Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo is inferior to the game from Capcom, but we want to focus on something else.

To reassure fans of games of this genre, the moderator provided interesting information: according to his information, a new part of Monster Hunter will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2023!

The authenticity of this information remains to be verified, as no reputable source has reported that Capcom is working on a sequel to the series. But there is very little time left until TGS and we will soon find out everything.

Tokyo Game Show 2023 will take place from September 21 to 24.
