In Ukraine, they want to reduce the electricity tariff for the first 100 kWh from UAH 1.68 to UAH 1.2. At the same time, the cost of each next kW * hour may increase to 2.4 UAH.
This is stated in the material OBOZREVATEL… New prices should be introduced from September 1, however, they are discussing the possibility of transferring the changes to next year. So,

the cost of the first 100 kW * hour of electricity they want reduce from 1.68 to 1.2 UAH for each kW * hour;
-
the next tariff – with consumption from 100 to 500 kW * hour (previously planned up to 300 kW * hour) – may amount to 2.4 UAH;

with consumption of 500 kW * hour – 3.4 UAH for each kW * hour.
It is possible that the second tariff (from 100 to 500 kW * hour) will be left at UAH 1.68. In any case, such an idea is being discussed in the government, said OBOZREVATEL Head of the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the Public Council under the Kyiv City State Administration Oleg Popenko.
The interlocutors in the Cabinet of Ministers say that there is no final version. “The task is to improve the situation on the electricity market, bring prices closer to the economically justified, but so that as few Ukrainians feel it on themselves. In general, there was already a decision to raise prices for everyone who spends more than 100 kWh, but then this political decision changed.” , – says the interlocutor in the government.
