On Tuesday, electricity prices will be highest in south-eastern, western and south-western Norway.

Between 8 and 9 in the morning, the electricity price there will be 1.68 kroner per kilowatt hour (kWh).
It shows final figures from the websites of the power exchange Nord Pool. In Central and Northern Norway, the price will be NOK 0.49 per kWh at its highest.
One kilowatt hour corresponds to electricity consumption of one kilowatt over one hour. If you shower for ten minutes, approximately 6.5 kWh is used, but it depends on how much water the shower head delivers.
Highest daily price
The average price in the country on Tuesday will be NOK 1.06 per kWh. That is NOK 0.14 more than on Monday and NOK 0.67 more than the same day last year. The highest daily price for electricity on Tuesday is found in southeastern, southwestern and western Norway at NOK 1.47 per kWh. Then comes Central and Northern Norway with a daily price of 0.44 kroner
In addition to the spot price for electricity, there is grid rent, consumption tax (16.69 øre per kWh), tax to Enova (1 øre per kWh), and a possible surcharge from the electricity companies. On top of that, a 25 percent VAT is added. In Nordland, Troms and Finnmark, there is no VAT on electricity, and in Finnmark and North Troms you also avoid paying the consumption tax.
Here it will be cheapest
The lowest kWh price on Tuesday will be between 3 and 4 o’clock at night in northern and central Norway, then at NOK 0.34. The price per kWh will be at its lowest in southeastern, southwestern and western Norway NOK 1.13.
On Sunday, the maximum and minimum prices in the country were NOK 1.45 and 0.19 per kWh, respectively. On the same day last year, it was NOK 0.68 and 0.19 per kWh
