According to NordPool, the spot prices will be NOK 2.85 per kWh, including grid rent, throughout southern Norway, writes The online newspaper.
At the same time as the winter cold is getting closer, heating, cooking and showering will be considerably more expensive from Monday morning.
According to NordPool, one kilowatt hour will cost an average of NOK 1.24 in large parts of southern Norway on Monday, according to E24. However, the price does not include grid rent, fees and other surcharges from the electricity companies.
According to the newspaper, this is the highest average price since 19 October, when one kilowatt hour on average cost a record high of NOK 1.43.
Electricity prices are rising sharply already from early Monday morning, and between 8 am and 9 am the peak will be NOK 2.28 per kilowatt hour. From there, however, it goes down again, and at lunchtime the price will be below Sunday’s average level. The electricity price will remain there throughout the afternoon and evening.
