Electricity bills: Cuts coming – How much you’ll pay – 2024-05-03 13:49:28

Most consumers will see a reduction in their electricity bills for the month of May.

Most electricity providers proceeded with reductions in special or green tariffs for the month of May.

Competitive charges are down from April by up to 12% with the majority of providers passing on wholesale electricity price cuts.

Of course, there are also cases of providers who either remained unchanged or made increases of up to approximately 5% compared to April. These are mainly green tariffs which are kept at the lowest levels compared to the rest.

Green tariffs per provider

In detail and according to what the providers have posted on the special website of RAAE, the green tariffs are set up as follows for May:

  • PPC: C1/C1N for the first 500 kilowatt hours of consumption is charged at 0.10656 euros per kilowatt hour. The night charge is at 0.07866 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • HERON: Basic Home has a competitive charge of 0.10118 euros per kilowatt hour with a consistency discount. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • The domestic Value Special has a competitive charge at 0.10601 euros per kilowatt hour with a consistency discount. The fixed price is 4 euros.
  • The special household tariff for the first 100 kilowatt hours has a competitive charge of 0.09968 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • The special tariff has a competitive charge of 0.10961 euros per kilowatt hour with bill and standing order and consistency discount. The fixed price is 3.5 euros.
  • The special tariff has a competitive charge of 0.10168 euros per kilowatt hour with a consistency discount and the first month’s electricity as a gift. The fixed price is 4.90 euros.
  • Natural Gas of Greece: The special single tariff has a competitive charge of 0.10954 euros per kilowatt hour with a consequential discount. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • ZENITH: Power Home Smart has a competitive charge of 0.10267 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • Elin: The Power On! Home Green has a competitive fee of 0.095 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 5 euros.
  • The special tariff has a competitive charge of 0.099 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 4.50 euros.
  • Solar Energy: The special tariff has a competitive charge of 0.10085 euros per kilowatt hour. The fixed price is 5 euros.
