From next year, those who buy an electric car and have an ISEE lower than 30,000 euros could get up to 18,000 euros of superbonus. The new proposal comes from the Ministry of the Environment to recalibrate four of the seven harmful environmental subsidies (Sad) in a first phase – concessions, loans or exemptions with a negative impact on natural resources, biodiversity and climate – which have cost Italy 19.7 billion euros. The goal is to overturn the proportions by favoring subsidies for the environment, arriving at the definition of a package of rules to be included in the next budget law that aims to change the habits of Italians.

The good news for those intending to replace their old car with a new model on tap is paired with much less good news for diesel car owners. If the latest proposal from the Ministry of the Environment were to become law, diesel would cost much more than gasoline: at the average prices of 7 September, a liter of diesel would cost 1.41 euros instead of 1.28 and against the 1.39 average price of petrol. With an Isee of up to 30,000 euros you can take advantage of a discount of up to 18,000 euros on the purchase of a used or new M1 vehicle, with a price of less than 50,000 euros excluding VAT. To fully benefit from the bonus, the purchased car must be electric and a Euro 0, Euro 1, Euro 2 car must be scrapped; otherwise the incentive will be halved.
