THE OFFER GROWS – With the electric car market growing steadily, many manufacturers are planning to launch new models. There Volkswagen is among the most active: as revealed by the document that we publish below, nine cars with electron engines will arrive in Europe from 2020 to 2025. And almost all of the SUV or crossover type, the most popular with customers. Let’s see what they are.
THE BULLI IS BACK – After the compact sedan ID.3, whose deliveries have already begun, the German house is preparing to launch the media crossover ID.4: will be in dealerships by the end of 2020. Subsequently, a crossover belonging to segment B will be presented, therefore smaller than the ID.3, which will be on sale during the 2021. In 2022 it will be the turn of the production version of the prototype ID.Buzz, a van with a look inspired by that of the Volkswagen T1 of the 60s. The ID.Buzz will also be marketed outside Europe.
THE SMALL IN 2025 – In 2023 what are referred to as two concepts will arrive, models with compact dimensions and, probably, the same basic mechanics: from the document it is deduced that one will focus on space on board, the other on autonomy. Always in 2023, but towards the end of the year, the segment B SUV is planned, also sold outside Europe, while in 2025 what might be called will come ID.1 e ID.2, two specific models for the city aimed at a wide audience, which will form the basis of the range.
